Comparison of the Country-of origin Effect on Czech Products Domestically and in Austria

The aim of this diploma thesis is to compare the influence of the country of origin effect on Czech products between Czech and Austrian university students. The first part includes description of existing theories in this field and also presents theoretical possibilities of brand and product origin communication. The empirical part introduces both markets, selected brands Škoda Auto and Pilsner Urquell and presents the interpretation of the data obtained from the questionnaire and its quantitative analysis. In the proposal part, the conclusions of the hypotheses constructed based on the empirical research in the first chapter are interpreted, the differences between both groups of respondents are discussed and author’s proposals are presented.
Strategic Brand Development of Company

Diploma thesis is focused on the brand building proces of the retail chain with sports equipment Decathlon. Appropriate theoretical concepts for brand development and for identification of competition are identified in the thesis. On the basis of this knowledge and using the methodology of market and competition analysis, the next part of the thesis analyzes the brand and its position towards competition, the market, as well as the survey of customer perception. The final step is to formulate suitable measures for brand development in the chosen market, which are based on the previous parts of the work.

The diploma thesis deals with strategic brand management. Analyzes the brand of both internal and external pesrpectives and presents a comprehensive analysis of the company’s brand. Factors influencing the customer loyalty and their importance in terms of the actual client perception, that serve as starting points for the proposal part, are identified. Main intention of these part is to create proposals for the development of a brand in accordance with the strengthening of a customer loyalty and with the recommended procedure of action for the future.

The thesis identifies suitable theoretical concepts for brand development. First is analyzed the company, the Goled brand itself and then its position to customers and competitor. The work mainly uses the experience of existing customers of the brand, which it then uses to design appropriate building and development of the Goled brand.

The thesis focuses on the development of the Czech Republic Army as a brand and the strengthening of its reputation. Within the scope of the thesis, the foundations for the successful development of a theoretical framework suitable for building the brand of non-commercial organizations will be defined. The analytical part will be dedicated to the approaches to branding of the Czech Republic Army and other selected foreign armies. Attention will also be paid to other relevant areas that have an impact on brand perception. Based on the analyses conducted, proposals will be developed to enhance the perception of the Czech Republic Army as a modern, innovative, and reliable organization that is also an attractive employer.
Marketing research of ASICS brand image

Title: Marketing research of ASICS brand image Objectives: The objective of the inquiry is to identify the image of the ASICS brand by view of Czech consumers of products associated with running. The aim is to find out how is ASICS brand perceived by runners, what is brand awareness among Czech consumers of running products, knowledge of the brand and experience with ASICS brand. Then, to make suggestion that could improve ASICS brand image in the Czech market. Methods: The marketing research used in this survey is in the form of an electronic questionnaire. It is quantitative structured marketing research. Results: The inquiry results show that the awareness of ASICS brand is highest among brands specialized in running. However, ASICS is third, following Adidas and Nike. ASICS brand is associated with words like shoes, running, quality, comfort, sport and technology. 87% of respondents know ASICS brand. ASICS is perceived as a credible, successful, and important on market with running equipment; modern, and favorite. In the front of view of product is brand founded as a brand, offering new technology product with good-looking design, high quality product and purely sporty product. Humor as a marketing tool and its impact on consumer behavior

The bachelor thesis, titled Humor as a marketing tool and its impact on consumer behavior, deals with the use of humor in marketing communication. The main objective of the thesis is to explore the effect of humor in marketing on brand perception and purchase intensions of consumers. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the consumer is being focused on firstly in order to understand principles of market behavior and factors that influences this behavior. Comprehending that is crucial in order to thoroughly understand the impacts of humor that are described in following parts of the thesis. The next part of the thesis deals with humor from a psychological point of view, it explains what humor is and describes some of the selected theories. The last chapter of the theoretical part connects humor and marketing, explains the principles, the effects, but also the advantages and the disadvantages that this practice deals with. The practical part consists of research that aims to explore the effects and the impacts of humor in marketing on the perception of promoted brands and the purchase intentions of consumers.
